- Even on less hard mode I managed to die twice in a row. I also didn't start off with any spells, which would have been nice. I liked the menus and options provided to the player. Keep at it. You have some talent here!
- a lot of default templated models combined with very rough drawings of characters left the player feeling out of place. music was decent with sound effects. Lack of instruction or guidance for the player left me unmotivated to continue slamming my head against the wall of difficulty even on the easiest setting.

Find randomized loot and try to put it to use using the Alchemy system in which nearly every item in the game can be used. Fight in battles that are obnoxiously lethal until you figure out what you're doing. Die repeatedly and let go of everything lost as a result. Unravel a story about how a person's inability to let go inevitably results in a massive amount of suffering.

This game is very much not for everyone, but I think it's quite strong regardless

Seems like an interesting game with a lot of replayability. The alchemy system and randomized loot work well together. I'll have to keep trying and see if I can beat it later when I have more time. Nice job!
Thanks a ton! I actually cheered after reading this lol
I'm glad to hear that you appreciate the alchemy and random loot! I was partially unsure how that was going to work in practice so I'm glad to hear that it's compelling
Good luck on beating the game! Let me know if you do, since it would be quite the achievement!
I wonder if any of the judges can finish the game lol
