  • Thanks for joining the game jam! GDD is nice and clear and well presented. The game concept is unique and interesting. Quick note: Be wary of using a word like "Ruumba" in your game that could be directly associated with a real company and a real product. The name is very similar to the "Roomba" home vacuum cleander by iRobot. Making a sandbox game is an interesting challenge, and you've made a fantastic prototype so far. I'm not sure you've applied the theme all that well. The "alchemy" part and changing things from one thing to another is clear, but the "shadows" aspect is less obvious. (I have read your theme interpretation in the GDD) Good luck in the jam & hope to see you next time!

Tell us about your game!
"Recycle Ruumba" is a physics sandbox simulator. You design your own Ruumba robot to do tasks like moving waste containers for recycling. You have a lot of fluid control over the design of the robot! Use it to design the perfect robot for the task.

Really cool game! Kinda impressive you made this for a jam. The controls felt smooth, i'm glad something happened when I put the trash in the recycler :) Made me feel accomplished. I think the building part could use some work to make more vehicles that would be playable, like having tiny wheels on a big blok, without it being stuck.
Other than that, great game :)

Will surely consider making more variations!
