  • The art is really interesting and cute. It gives off old school platformer vibes. I also liked that this wasn't just a linear level, but that there were multiple directions I could navigate. I also like the shadow avatar, but I'm not really seeing the alchemy theme. It feels like the spikes do damage even when I haven't hit them, almost like there's extra space around the spike objects causing me to take damage. That was the main difficulty I encountered in regard to movement.

Great work! The art style and lighting is very well done. I also enjoyed how the spells and level design allowed for multiple ways to complete the same level. I'd love to see you expand upon this game once the jam is over!

Developer

So would I, thanks a lot for the comment, and also for playing!

Really cool art style and thematics, especially with the lighting, death was quite frustrating in that it makes you go through the tutorial text repeatedly and the controls are a liiiittle clunky, but cool game overall!

Developer

Sorry for that, I actually added the repeated tutorial on purpose so that those who didn't get to read it the first time could get to read it again without reloading the game from scratch.

Art style good. found it tricky at certain areas. (dash sent me flying off the map a couple of times)

defs a skill issue.

Developer

I didn't have enough time to make more easier mechanics because I started development late but thanks a lot for playing.

But I want to ask, were you able to make it to other levels?
