  • Fun concept of altering material to adjust the weights. Made for an interesting puzzle game. Shadows theme seemed a bit lacking and jump mechanic was a bit off. Died multiple times while figuring out the timings. It felt like once the ground was out of view, the character just fell.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
yes

Tell us about your game!
WASD to move, space bar to jump, shift to access the transmutation menu, and left click on a transmutable object to change it to your selected material.

The game is primarily a platformer but we would love to add more puzzles in the future to really flex the material transmutation system.

Extra Notes
We joined the jam a few days late, so we had to cut some puzzles that we had originally intended. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this.

Here  is my list of feedback:

  • The game took a long time to work in my browser, maybe add a simple initial scene, instead of having the first level the game opens be the main level (this is just a tip to have players not think the game might be broken because it takes a bit to load)
  • The orientation on respawn seems to be the same as when i "died", which is confusing sometimes as it made me go into the wrong direction a few times
  • You can move up the sides of certain platforms, which i dont think is intended xD
  • The "slowdown" on the menu feels more like you are forcing a lower framerate, which is fine because it works, but feels weird

Overall for a 3d platformer it is fine, as you mention yourselves, with a few more interesting puzzles it would have been great. Though nonetheless, it is well executed, good job.
