  • Great take on the theme, really fun game difficult enough to keep it interesting. It is difficult to understand the transformation recipience, it looks that picking up the same elements gives you different outcomes. Would be interesting to see more variation of players attack ad from enemies bullets. Keep this up.

Warthemists is a bullet-hell that combines fast-pacing gameplay with resource management elements. Our game is designed in a way that the player has multiple tools to avoid enemy projectiles. The main two mechanics are "World Switching" and "Elemental Transmutation." The player can switch between two modes, and depending on the active mode, the player will be invulnerable to projectiles that match the active mode. Most of the challenges were designed with this mechanic in mind, progressively testing the player on their master of switching modes. Transmutation is a system where players can collect items and fuse them to activate a power-up. Depending on which elements are fused, the power-up will be different. This mechanic is supplemental to the mode switch and its purpose is to incentivize experimentation.

Love this! Just enough elements to manage to keep the challenge and satisfaction right on the sweet spot. Beautiful stuff
