  • Very enjoyable game, good GDD. Got stuck a few times, not sure if that's just me or a bug within the game!
  • As of yet this game feels pretty incomplete, but I can see the vision you were going for! not quite up to par for this jam due to small level, difficult aiming controls, and surface level themes of alchemy with no mechanical impact. But I bet If you had more time to work on this you could make this a banger! My main piece of advice is always focus on having a finished product at the end of it all, even if it is really small or simple! its about having a bite sized thing to showcase what the full meal could be!

Yes

Tell us about your game!
This game has simple movement controls along with a projectile weapon controlled with left click. You begin as a man searching for the philosophers stone with only his trusty flasks and encounter obstacle and enemies as you explore this forgotten ruin. You find new alchemical solutions as you explore this forgotten place.

Extra Notes
This is my second ever game jam and although I had a hard time working on this project it ending up being a lot of fun. Only my second time making a game and coding with game maker but I don't plan on stopping. Thank you specifically Pirate Software for making me believe I could create something wonderful, cause without that push I'd never even get started.

I found my self getting stuck on the wall in the corner in the first level. Unable to play due to this issue. Also your view screen should be adjusted to fit the view port of the game on the itch.io as I can see you have it set to 1920x1080 but should really be how big the view port is of the game. Overall I like the aesthetics and sound of the game

My viewport is already set in the game to 1920x1080, same as the camera, and same on itch.io not sure what your seeing there but I am unsure what to do about it. Also I have found the issue of getting suck in walls and figured out why its occurring, I will be able to fix it easily as it was a minor oversight. I'm not sure how this is stopping your ability to play the game entirely as it should only occur on vertical walls and as long as you don't hug them. Hope your able to get through it and sorry again for the issue.
