  • As someone who uses the spoon theory in my own day-to-day life, I really appreciated this game. It showcased the theory in a very unique and engaging way that I feel could help people understand disability. The art and story is great, and I would love to see this game expanded and finished. I would think of different ways to add more consequences into the game. You had a lot of ways to help increase spoons, but what other ways can spoons be used up? Sometimes not doing the thing you're supposed to and instead doing something fun can lead to anxiety/stress/shame and impact a person. That would be a good opportunity to help teach people how to process those feelings and grow into being ok with doing fun things and add more immersion for the player. This is truly a great game.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
oops, no

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
yes, now I did

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
yes, double checked

Tell us about your game!
It's a moody simulation/point-and-click type game. 2D anime style. A little depresso but cozy vibes.

Extra Notes
Spoon Theory is very much incomplete! There are meant to be some puzzles, and it's meant to be story rich - but at this point the puzzles don't exist and the story is bare bones.

Other than that - we learned a lot. Thank you, Thor :)

What a wholesome game! I got the good ending! I love your theme interpretation. Soothing colors, very cute art and sound effects, relatable text. You got a few chuckles out of me with the parts I had to "pretend" to play, that was so cute. I hope you keep developing this, and make gold of it :D Very well done!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it :') I fully intend on working on it more - I'm already working on one of the minigames ^^
