  • Love the style and the feel of the game. Movement gave that real nice old school vibe. I could see this being a good start to add more to, some critters or some diversion could make the world feel a bit more alive. The theme was pretty good, but something more shadowy like creatures or the walls down allow light through would make exploration more.
  • Fog of war is a good interpretation of shadows. Using resources to light the crystals to push back the fog pairs well. Controls are straight forward and simple. Art style and sound effects pair well.

Play as a Jr Alchemist helping their village keep the curse of shadows at bay by diving in to the Inverted Tower. Explore each level of the dungeon and using alchemy with Essence of Earth power the dungeons crystals, bringing light to the village.

Extra Notes
Known bug:
- After completing all nodes on a crystal, shadows don't work as intended.

Artstyle and sounds are on point reminds me at old Gameboy Games. But the gameloop is a bit repettive and grindy without a real challenge. That would be a point to improve but well done! It's cool.
