LUMIÈRE: Light’s Last Stand is a 2d puzzle exploration game about Fighting Darkness with spell combinations related to light and its manipulation.
The player controls a character and explores the given levels solving puzzles related to Light and its application by combining different spell modules to manipulate the lights' behavior. By navigating the levels the player must additionally overcome enemies by evading them to find and defeat a Boss at the end of each major level.
You are following the Journey of Lumi one of the survivors of the Darkness encroaching upon your world. Your inner Light has not yet dimmed and you are on a journey to destroy what is spreading said darkness.
Extra Notes
This is the first Game Jam both Aloisa and I participated in we were able to get a basic prototype of our idea working. We wish we were able to do more but as both of us have never really made a complete game and used GameMaker we had to overcome many hurdles to arrive where we are now. It was a lot of fun and I will definitely be participating in future Game Jams.
