  • Difficult to figure out the purpose of the demo. I found myself confused as to what to do. Reading the GDD, a quake style game play sounds very interesting and should be further developed.

So the intended purpose was to have cultist attack constantly until they drop relics to combine to break the magic shield surrounding the boss mage. Before you are able to break his shield you reveal the power source of cultists keeping the barrier running. Once you get rid of one element, the another element becomes available and I intended to make the entire room change colors but the lights were acting weird so we ended up just using spot lights.

Extra Notes
I dont think we are going to win, but we had a lot of fun putting the idea down on a GDD and learning the pieces of Godot and the mess of code we made lmao.

Very interesting game with the bullet/lights.  I suggest making the lights linger and fade over time.  that would help with the flashing issues.  I liked having to shoot to explore the terrain!

Thanks we might try that! yeah out intention was to have a a small labyrinth and things to loot before the boss fight and the alchemy aspect of it was a theme going to be sacrificing life to provide a shield for a short time. The action is there if you press the 1 press the one key, but time was limiting us from both work and school.
