Playability is good with no overly complicated systems in place.
The themes are in the game, while Shadows is cleverly implemented artistically and Alchemy less cleverly but more obviously implemented gamplay wise.
The the gameplay loop is well thought out and promising, however an insentive to play more (visible Score for example) would be nice.
The art is very rich in variation, which is both nice, but also creates a strong division between the outside and inside, making it feel incoherent.

Hangry Shadows is an alchemy based RPG game. Harvest resources, discover crafting recipes and find the way to help the lost souls.
Story:
We were once pure souls, unable to cross to the other side. Souls that lost their way turn dark and wicked, suffering in eternal agony, feeling nothing but the hunger and need to fill the emptiness inside. Only when they receive their most desired cravings can their souls finally rest in peace.
Game Loop:
Craft items -> Explore map -> Collect ingredients -> Level up -> Discover new recipes -> Save lost souls
After levelling you will start seeing rare ingredients on the map. Item tooltips will show more detail once you craft more. Fuse new items and discover customer's preferences.
Controls (shown on Options screen in-game):
Mouse: Select ingredients.
Movement: Use W, A, S, D or arrow keys
Call new customer: C
Mix/make new item: M
Open inventory: I
Open menu: ES

Desktop only, requires a keyboard. Don't forget to pet the cat!
