- I like the way the game looks and handles movement-wise. However I'm not really sure how you're supposed to finish the game? like there are fires all over and I am collecting stuff but I'm not really sure what to do or to what end? Game requires more development and explanation. I do like the lighting system though, it at least looks really pretty!

Inkblight is a 2D Platformer set in the depths of a dark tomb. Traverse various halls and platforms under minimal light, fleeing past dangerous rat mages to the safety of the cauldrons.
The game contains a basic player controller, one ranged enemy type, shadows to obscure vision for the level, items to collect, and checkpoints.

Is there something special needed to get through the rat on the first platform? Can't seem to get past him
No, it's just timing based. I just reuploaded the game with slight changes to the rats, including slower projectile speed and lower attack frequency. It should be easier to dodge, or jump over and/or around them. The first rat also has a lantern next to him now, so he's easier to spot.
