  • The concept of everything turning into a weapon for you is a clever interpretation of "You are the Weapon," I like it! Turning everything into a weapon like midas is very creative. It does ask the question - what does the loot turn into when you get it though? The game is a good prototype for what you're intending to do with the payday style gameplay of set up and execute. I would include a text box or tutorial in game that explains what the drill/computer/etc. do as support weapons vs the banana/pencil weapons. Give the player a couple sentence explainer at the start - it could just be a t-pose dude with a mask saying go rob the bank. The level design is good for a first level tutorial mission and the weapon assets are working as they should, i would like some textures on the walls to differentiate where an opening is vs just a wall; it was easy to miss the opening until you walked around a bit. GDD is well laid out with a good overview of how the game is being developed, inspirations, credits, and timeline. Overall, good job!

Summarise your game!
A bank heist game where every thing is a weapon, literally. Any item no matter how mundane turns into a gun.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Since even the most mundane of household items can become weapons, there is no quality that defines an object as a weapon. Rather it is the actions taken that turn the object into a weapon by its user. Ex, the first weapons used by man were stones and animal bones, becoming weapons only when used as such. Weapons are intrinsically tied to human creativity and problem solving, in other words ‘you are the weapon’.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
As it will be obvious, not all features were completed in time by the deadline particularly the npcs to stop the player from progressing

This is actually a sick little tech demo. I was lost for a little bit then I picked up a computer that somehow became a shotgun then I was sold. Actually a hilarious concept. Then I found the key gun and it was so over, I'm rich now. 10/10
