Hey I gave your game a play. After a few attempts I was able to live a pretty long time, like 5 min! I really liked the look of the resources moving around and I think the UI that told you what each building did was great. I think the only feedback I would give is to make enemies a little easier at the start and to maybe do an in game tutorial. Of course this is only if you want to give the game a post jam patch. Great job, super cool to see a working RTS in a jam!

- If you like micro managing stuff then this is the game for you. Knowing where to place certain building and when to craft the guns is a very crucial part of the gameplay loop. I liked that the buildings could only be placed in very specific spots, making it so you cant just pile them all into one spot. Not having any music or sound was a bit odd, maybe add some type of background music. This is a good base for a RTS, I can see you adding more buildings and enemies in the future.

Summarise your game!
Top-Down RTS where you are trying to establish a new colony in the Proxima Centauri system. Collect resources, man the turrets and beat back the locals.
Mostly controls with the mouse.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player is both literally manually operating each turret and figuratively being used as a weapon against the environment and local population.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This isn't the first video game I've made but it was my first game jam and my first time using Godot. I learned so much throughout the project that I started realizing midway just how poorly I had implemented some of my mechanics.
One thing I am really proud of is the building system. It is a bit clunky to add onto, and there are a few bugs, but I really enjoy watching the resources travel around the road system to get to the construction sites.
