- EXCELLENT game design document! Very thorough and extensive. Great job! Game volume controls for the WIIIIIIIN! GG on this! It's an overlooked feature but honestly SO crucial. Thank you! The audio design was excellent. The music gave a fun vibe and I was immediately engaged. Really nice credits sequence. Simple and satisfying to watch. Loved to see the attention to detail there. The fade back to main menu on click was *chefs kiss* One thing I would suggest is to rename the "Equip/Unequip" instructions with "Posess/Unposess" that makes more sense in my head going along with the lore and world you've built. Perhaps you got other feedback otherwise since Equip/Unequip is a bit more clear to the casual gamer. The art style is so good and cohesive. I appreciated that not only am I a bunny as well as the enemies but the weapons have little bunny icons too! I love the bunny in the game title as well. The attack didn't seem to respond to my use of left click consistently. I tried quite a bit to get it to work. Then I saw that space was labeled as being the attack in the pause menu! It said attack was left click in the GDD and in the game instructions menu in the opening scene. Worked a better when I switched to using that thought it was still lagging a little in responsiveness. Clicking up did not level me up. I see in the videos to the left here there's a level up menu. I wasn't able to get that to pop up for me. Great job on this game! A ghost bunny possessing a weapon is a really unique and creative interpretation of the game theme. You clearly put a lot of hard work into this and I really enjoyed your game. I hope you keep working on it! Thank you so much!

Nice one :)
I really liked the sound and art design of the game.
The gameplay was also very fun and I love the overall idea of the game.
I think a better pathfinding for enemies would improve the game a lot, or that some enemies can phase through walls as well.
After a little polish I would like to see more content after the jam :)
Well done!
Thanks so much for taking the time to play and give feedback! I love that you are thinking about the pathfinding as well. I started making some changes to it. I fixed a decent amount of the basics (like them running against the pits). What do you think might be some interesting behavior?
Nice to hear :)
I think improving the base movement so that enemies turn around at the wall and find another way would be cool.
In terms of other interesting behaviours, I had some ideas while playing your game for enemies with different movement types.
Hope I could give some inspiration or useful ideas :)
Yeah, actually these are sick.
Love the concept, I proposed a similar idea actually for our project although we ended up going on a different direction 😆 The art is so cute, and the mechanics seem solid, was caught a couple times by a gang of bunnies but was able to recover from it. Definitely would love to see this getting another round of polish after the jam as it seems fun and with a lot of potential 👍🏻
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we have actually been doing some work on it, so we will be able to make a post-jam release!
"ilovelamp!" So good to see many game dev peeps again in this game jam. Ok review time.
I like the concept here! I think it's super cool seeing all the little bunz get into the weapons and depending on the weapon you're fighting you kinda need to find a weapon to counter it. The spear felt good against sword, sword good against bow, bow good against spear, in general. Great SFX and music and the sprites were very cute! I almost felt bad for killing my ghostbun enemies.
I think I was having some issues possessing the weapons it would start and then just stop. So not sure what's up there. (mostly happened on sword) Think the other part was the enemies not being able to cross the gaps was an interesting choice and allowed me to cheese a bunch. I think the overall feel is getting there and the concept is cool! I could see some cool things come out of this mechanic.
Good job y'all!
Very cool concept and the art is really cute. Love that the enemies can also possess the weapons, is really interesting how every now and then you end in a little race with another ghost to pick a weapon.
For a feedback i would probably make the game a little faster at first as it is a little to easy once you understand the idea (you could attach the difficulty with the amount of enemies defeated, so the better players will find a challenge faster and the more chill, can progress at their own pace). Also the cooldown of the attack should be (in my opinion) communicated in some way, like a progress bar.
Also the hitbox in the enemy spears can be a little misleading.
The game concept is solid, in my opinion, just needs a little work on the juiciness/gamefeel.
Congrats! (and thanks for playing our game on stream)
Nice game with polished mechanics! I enjoyed the possessing dynamic where you get to become different weapons based on which enemies you defeat.
Really cute game! I repeatedly managed to get stuck in the canyons, but the fun is still absolutely great!
Had a fun time with this one! Especially love the little rock paper scissors triangle between the three weapons, and the ai for enemies possessing the weapons felt especially polished, and it was a great twist!
Wonderful job :)
Very cute game, and very fun! Everything fits really well together, overwall a great experience!
I thought about making something similar like your game. i think you should reduce the cooldown of the weapon attack drastically.
also often when i try to get new weapons, the enemys take them first, and i can only stick to my old weapon.
all in all well done!
