  • This is a fun and interesting concept! However, there are a number of improvements that can be made to the execution. Controls: Some of the controls are not intuitive and are poorly documented. Pressing E to bring up the rocket selection menu is not listed anywhere and nor is the fact you have to double-click on a rocket to fire it. I had already cleared level 1 by watching enemies running into me before I had worked out how to actually interact with the primary gameplay loop. Also, having to use the mouse to select the rocket then switching back to keyboard only is kind of laborious. Audio: The only sound I came across was the sound effect of an explosion, which while a fun sound effect was very loud and jarring after having been sat in silence previously. Rocket mechanics: The Hellfire and Cruise missile are standouts in terms of effectiveness for big and small targets respectively. Conversely having to wait for the Topol-M to fire makes it comparatively useless and I'm not sure what the stealth rocket actually does since the armor mechanic is not explained or visually represented. (Also, a table of the balancing stats etc would have been a great addtion to the GDD!) Also, starting the rockets pointing at the sky is realistic but makes it difficult to work out what's going on. It took multiple fires before it became obvious which direction the rocket spawned facing. Ultimately there is plenty of room for improvement but this is a cool concept that has great potential, and an impressive Proof of Concept. The card based random rocket selection is a very interesting mechanic that I enjoyed and has lots of room for expansion in the future. Great job!

Okay after couple of tries I finally got the steering.
Really great concept! I like how it's possible to change rockets and navigate them. It needs a bit of polish in graphics and in gameplay but overall really good job!
Keep on going ;)
(in settings text is hard to read - best would be to use some panel ;) )
