- A great little game with a higher skill ceiling than expected. As i played the more and more i got better at frame timing my attacks to be invincible and mow enemies down. Although having the jump button be W key instead of Space was a bit of a learning curve. The in-game prompts where helpful but should have stayed a bit longer on screen. The different weapon types were fun to use but the boomerang would become quite a hindrance when trying to climb up certain spots because of the returning part. The Art was simple and animated well. The boss fight was engaging and proper amount of difficulty. Sfx where good as well. The GDD was lite but laid out well with plans for future development. Overall a solid start, keep making cool games!

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
I've seen that some players struggle a lot to use the boomerang weapon. Could I get some tips on how to make the behavior of that weapon less obscure withou changing it much.

I think the first enemies in the game should be able to be killed in 1 shot, make your player feel a little powerful at first. I figured out how to use the boomerang but i didn't know where to go with. I tried going back up towards the start. When getting feedback, get your playtesters to share their screen and watch where they get stuck, this may help you teach them your game better. Nice job tho, you did a good job with the mechanics i tried!! keep making games!
