  • This puzzle game started a little confusing but once i picked up the main mechanic it became easy. A small tutorial before the first main puzzle would help alleviate that issue. Their was also alot of objects that had no purpose as i could move them but they weren't apart of the solution to the puzzle and were just filler for the room. The GDD was informative towards the beginning with the stories narrative and mechanics. The dialogue could also use a speed up or a button to push to speed up dialogue without skipping as i accidentally skipped the opening dialogue on my first go around. Besides that its a good start, keep making cool games!

Summarise your game!
Anachron is a tile-based puzzle adventure that thrusts you into two entwined timelines—a forgotten past and a treacherous present. You play as an archaeologist piecing together the fragments of a legendary Wisdom Tablet, hoping to save humanity from an impending doom. Unbeknownst to you, echoes of your past life as a twisted scientist seep through each puzzle you solve. As the secrets of the ruins unfold, you realize you’re on the path to becoming patient zero, destined to unleash a devastating plague. Will you break this cruel cycle of destruction, or will history repeat itself through your own hands?

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Anachron directly embodies “You Are the Weapon” by making the player the very catalyst for humanity’s downfall. Uncovering fragments of an ancient tablet reveals you’re destined to become patient zero of a devastating plague, ensuring that the greatest threat is the protagonist themselves.
