Not too bad
Sometimes when I dash it doesn't destroy the blob, maybe I'm too far away.
The dash really slides on the ground and is hard to control.

- Castle Smash was a fun experience overall, with a relatively small learning curve to learn the platforming skills necessary to save the princess at the end of the level. I found the music to be just about the right pacing for the player character's movement, although this contrasted with the enemies presented quite a bit. In its current format, this demonstration features green slimes which stay stationary regardless of player movements near or around them. By introducing a bouncing movement to their pattern, player engagement would be increased quite significantly. Player dashing worked nearly as expected, although there are instances where it appears the player model contacts the enemy model at the end of a dash without destroying either the player character or the enemy. Thank you very much for your submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16. This was a very good start to your development, and your attention to the feeling of the movement system really showed.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
The princess has been captured, yet on your journey to the castle where she was taken, you lost your weapon! Smash your way through the castle using the arrow keys and z, x, and c to save the princess!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
A weapon is used to destroy or inflict harm, by smashing through enemies, the knight becomes a weapon!
I unfortunately ran out of time to add other stuff I was hoping to add(life happened more than I expected)
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This is my first published game and any and all feedback on how to improve would be great! Feedback focused on the movement would be best, as that is what I ended up spending the most time on :)
