Influenzar: Brainrot's itch.io pageJudge feedback

- Influenzar: Brainrot immediately called to mind the image of the Plague: Inc and Pandemic title screens, and I found the game's mechanics to be sort of similar, but in more of a Civ-style 'one more turn!' kind of way. Without any way to effect your points generation beyond making brainrot for the most points, the game is sort of funneled into that one point at this stage. I would recommend adding a greater variety of levers for the player to interact with, some of them having both pros and cons, in order to allow for a variety of strategies to appear. It's more accurate to your symbols if you portray brainrot artists as a class with many methods of success, rather than making them the apex predator in speed running this title. Thank you very much for your submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16.

Summarise your game!
Influenzar is a game about influencing people across the world and building a cult following to then take it over.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player plays as an influencer, using their influencing powers as a weapon to take over the world.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Sounds are very loud and the mute sounds button doesn't work on HTML, please reduce your volume when playing this game!

Holy loud music batman! Besides that, I feel like if you put some effort in making the interactibility with the world higher it would keep people's attention more. just clicking for stats isn't really compelling. that said, with better graphics and some better balance (point levels aren't high enough for upgrades, i had over 260 points when i beat the game) you have a game here.
Hey thanks for playing our game, yea unfortunately the mute button doesn't work on the web version for some reason and we only implemented the music near the end where we were fixing a bunch of other bugs. Our original idea had us making more upgrades and "actions" for the player to do to better distribute the points but unfortunately we ran out of time there as well (also to properly QA the game). We did focus on the mechanics and playability of the game so graphics wasn't our concern (programmer's art lmao) but we could most likely add more map elements like the redness of countries in plague inc. Either way, thanks again for playing!
i feel you so much with the programmer's art 😭😂 oh yeah since the music was added at the end, no wonder you didn't have any time, very valid!
