  • Thanks for your entry into the game jam! Great job on the smooth controls and platforming. I liked that pressing down would drop me to lower platforms. Shooting and aim was responsive and hitting enemies felt good (hitbox was good) I don't see much detail or effort in the GDD and it makes it hard to know the theme intent and concept. Liked the consideration for flying to the moon upward :) the Ui is functional and informative good job keeping it clean. Like the game and look forward future developments.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
A sidescrolling shooter with randomly generated levels where you play as a a corporate AI in a weaponized chassis shooting at enemies for points. You are a weapon, you live for corporate points.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as an AI that is constantly being redownloaded into new bodies to fight more things in an endless cycle of warfare that has gone on for an unknown amount of time.

I've never made a game before and I'm a solo dev but I hope you like what I've made anyway, I had a tonne of fun making it and learned a lot.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
There is a secret ending that's fairly easy to find. It was going to be harder to get but I ran out of time to implement the mini boss.

Darn, I didn't think to double check the entry had the right document. The right one was in the game description.

Thanks anyway, sorry for wasting your time.

YES! I Loved the game, love the robot art, it feels awesome to lift and fly the robot. Love the music.
Well done! Will play again to flew into the space as well XD

Developer

Thankyou for playing my game I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I spent a lot of time getting the robot flight working perfectly! I'll be sure to leave a review of your game as soon as I can :D.

Interesting idea. Not sure if it was intentional  but I just floated above the map shooting down and move forward for a very long time before I accidently flew into space and got a game over.

Overall fun entry. I hope you learned and lot and had fun during this jam session!

Thankyou for playing my game, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Also flying into the sky is an intended ending I was hoping people would find.

oh nice! I had thought it was meant as a "just in case this could happen" type of deal!

Developer

There was going to be a boss up there in the original vision for the game but I over scoped and had to cut it to meet the deadline.

Cool run and gun :)
