I got to score 29 on my third try! This was a nice little shooter game. I have a few pieces of feedback for if you want to do a post jam build. First I would add a restart button that way you can play again quicker. Also when you shoot it should not make the player stand still in my opinion, because basically it punishes you for moving around to dodge the asteroids. So instead of moving around I just ended up sitting in one spot and shooting up, that is how I got to score 29. If you make it so you can move while shooting it will make the player move around more. Good job getting a game done!

- Nice little game! I like the music, its very catchy haha. The game itself is a little bare bones, but I think is a good mechanical start. I would think of ways to add complexity and strategic decisions to the game. For example, maybe shooting asteroids blows up into ever smaller asteroids that are more dangerous, but give you more points for shooting them. Or asteroids drop extra points that you have to run and collect. As of now, the best strategy is to sit still and aim up, which isn't as fun as it could be. But kudos to you for finishing the game and is a good base to build upon! Thanks for the entry and best of luck to your future dev adventures!

Summarise your game!
Primary Mechanics:
A cannon always points towards the player’s mouse, press Space to shoot and SAWD to move.
Asteroids coming from top to the bottom of the screen.
Trying to survive as long as possible to reach your highest score!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Cannons are weapons, and I thought letting them shooting asteroids would be cool
