  • GDD Very well-made GDD. Plenty of details and images to help us understand the development process. Gameplay Simple gameplay: the torpedo feels very floaty, and paired with the very well-implemented inertia, the feeling of being underwater was well replicated. Short little courses with a gradual increase of difficulty, never unfair. I have to add that the clock is always facing away from the screen and freaked me out; it looks like a massive mine. The last level was very tight; I liked it. Art Lovely art; the 3D assets meshed well and made clear what was supposed to happen. I had one small issue with the bondaries on the top of the course, it does not looks like a wall, and it got me at the start. But it's the kind of mistake that only happens once, so no big deal. Sound design Sweet and short BGM helped me feel like I was underwater. The SFX are nice, minimalistic, and quiet, but being underwater, it felt right. Last thoughts Nice execution. It was a very enjoyable experience controlling the torpedo. And games like this can always be expanded later by adding more levels and assets. And the submarine gets to rest on the sea floor with both of the torpedoes. Aw. Great job.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
A sunken submarine resurrects to find his left torpedo lost at sea. You play as the right torpedo and have to find keys to unlock the door in which your friend is locked in.

Everything is played with the mouse

Throttle: Left Mouse Button
Control: Mouse Up/Down
Scope: Right Mouse Button (Useless right now)

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are controlling the right torpedo of a submarine, searching for your left side partner.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Have fun!
