Summarise your game!
Played on a spherical planet, an arcade shooter where you control a mech, Switching between a laser gun and rocket launcher, with a shield to block damage, a Boost to fling yourself around, and a slam that stuns enemies. Fight helicopters, mechs, and turrets. Collect enough uranium to blow up the planet;
Controls:
WASD - move
Mouse 1 - Fire
Shift - Boost
Space - Jump
Escape - Pause
R - Restart
Mouse 2 - Shield
Control - Slam
1 & 2 - Switch Weapons
(If you jump right after boosting you can fling yourself super far)
Story: in a techno industrial future where humungous machinery is ubiquitous, you were made with one prime directive, Kill all humans, its you against the entire world.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are a robot whos sole purpose is to kill all humans, there for you are a weapon in the sense that your sole reason to exist is litteraly to end the world. There is not a single mechanic in the game that doesnt serve the purpose of causing harm.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
- Since the gameworld is spherical, every mechanic in the game had to be built around a more general physics where any direction can be down.
- This was a Solo projet and my first ever attempt at making a game

Very clear design document, easy to understand what kind of game you are 'gunning' for... Clearly sticks to the jam theme. I really like the music design, especially the menu - somehow a cross between halo, fallout and mass effect! As for the game itself, it's a cool concept and a really good effort on your first game. Nice choice of artstyle and really nice assets.
The game was clunky at times. Something I noticed is that there seems to be a bug with the viewport. Despite the player and NPCs being on a sphere, the viewport remains locked to the XY plane, rather than relative to the planet's surface which makes aiming a little tricky! And the mouse movment speed seems to be extremely variable. Issues like these could be ironing out with a bit more testing and more polishing
It might also be useful to illustrate a map of the controls, as the game loop is quite fast pace.
MECHA GAME RISE UP!
Wow great job on making this! Good job on the animations and the different models! I liked being able to dash. I think adding another animation for the mech whenthat happens would make it pop! I really enjoyed the missile lock on. Looks sick. I had trouble using the shield personally and had trouble telling when I was taking damage maybe some flash effects on the bot or screen would help with that. Music was super cool as well as your SFX.
Also looked like your UI scaling was off on your web export even in fullscreen.
