- Hey! This is a really cool demo. The dark theme and music work together to create a mysterious environment, and the organism's red color stands out. I like the minimal UI player movement animations. The work you put into making the game look good is apparent. I'm really impressed by the quality of what you've submitted! I like the mixture of movement-based puzzles and more traditional aspects, but I think some aspects like the first door's opening method might stump new players. It all comes down to how you'd like to design the levels and difficulty though. Overall, I'm really impressed by what you've accomplished in the given time. It's a unique gameplay experience that really stands out to me. Good job!

SPLICE is about fighting and sneaking your way through a dark atmospheric world.
Mutate your body to access new abilities.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player navigates an organism which is a literal biological engineered weapon. Your body is the weapon. Some attacks even cost healthpoints
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
the procedural animation of the tentacles!
Better play in 1 sitting. I didnt test the "New Game" after the first gamesave :D

Wow, this game is amazing. The art style and atmosphere are brilliant. The gameplay is simple yet effective, the movement is fluid and the bossfight is really fun. Great job!
