SurVirus is a well-named homage to your inspirations, which I would highlight immediately for its performance. The game felt easy to control and suffered nearly 0 delay throughout testing. Your choice to maintain a simpler art design paid out directly in this result. In its current phase of development, SurVirus could definitely be brought up to date with a few tweaks. To start at the beginning, I noticed your settings menu leads to a hang-up with menu pathing. Specifically, you can't return to the main screen from the settings / sound menu. Second, I would recommend the use of colorblind friendly palettes in order to maintain the full effect of your art style across users. Finally, I would consider the addition of health items in the level leading up to the final boss fight. Thank you very much for your submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16.

In SurVirus, you play as a cunning bacteria that has just infiltrated the human body. But survival won’t be easy the immune system has detected your presence and is sending relentless waves of white blood cells to eliminate you! Dodge and evolve as you fight to spread and thrive. Will you defeat the immune system, or will you be wiped out? The battle for survival begins now!

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The human body is a battlefield, and every organism within it is a soldier in an ongoing microscopic war. The immune system acts as a powerful weapon, deploying white blood cells like elite soldiers to hunt and destroy any intruders. Meanwhile, as the bacteria, you are the invader, fighting to survive, adapt, and spread against overwhelming odds. Every encounter is a high-stakes battle, reinforcing the theme where everything is a fight, and everywhere is a war.
