Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
The idea of the game is to headbut your way(As the mc: ZiZi) to the top of the map and kill the boss and win with as much points as possible.
You can Jump with space and dash to the sides with a/d.
The enemies will shoot, explode and the boss will bodyslam and laser you. there is also a trap that on contact will hurt you.
You can obtain items by thrusting yourself at them they. They will heal, power up, and also increase your score.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The only weapon you have is yourself. You have to attack your enemies by hitting them with the spike attached to your head.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The player health value has been set to 10 instead of 100. I have the correct file where the only difference is the health value. If it is okay with you guys I can give that one to you.

Jam Judge

We apologise for the late review. Here is your judge's feedback:

I enjoyed the mechanics of the game once I understood them correctly. When reading the GDD it mentioned that you would dodge/dash to the left or right with the use of a/d. When I pressed either of those buttons it did not seem to work as intended. I did not really grasp it mechanically but after a bit I understood which side of the character was the weapon and which was not. The left and right felt like it was trying to have you dash in that direction based on where the top of your character was and not necessarily to the left or the right. With that in mind I believe with some polish and balancing you could have a really good strategic game on your hands. I do want to note that the music kept me really engaged with the game while playing and gave the game a satisfying feel overall. All in all I would love to see more!

Suggestions:

Tutorial or sandbox mode to learn the controls better

Maybe a Parry or way to block attacks but with a cooldown of some sorts.

Would love to have a Volume mixer or slider of some sort.

thank you for your review. I will keep in mind your suggestions🙏

The game is very hard to control and I felt like I operating an airplane by pressing random buttons, cool music though.

unfortunately while debugging the player health was set to 10 instead of 100 and it would be kind for you to take that into notice.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gL9sk1QqHeGnZbNyggU8i_U6G9950ozz/view?usp=drive...
