- Sword potion is a 2D donkey kong/pac-man style game where you turn into a sword to kill enemies hunting you. The theme interpretation is great, I loved taking a potion to become the weapon against your enemies. I liked the feel of the game's enemies where they try to reach you, i had them jumping after me for quite a while as I was standing at the top of the screen. The main mechanics of movment and killing enemies worked well, with a good score representation in place. Other than the core features, the game was not quite realized yet. Some improvements I would like to see would be a game over screen once you've run out of lives. Some kind of on-screen representation of damage taken. Finally, some basic SFX for giving/receiving damage would be good. GDD was okay. I would recommend including inspriations as a top line that you can refer to as opposed to a stream of consciousness checklist style document. Also, credit yourself in the game & document, you wrote it and deserve recognition. Good job!

Summarise your game!
Take potions to become a sword and attack enemies to get the high score! After you take the potion you become a sword temporarily and can attack enemies. When in a normal knight mode you can be damaged by enemies.

I see what you are trying to do here, and I think some minor adjustments here and there can improve the game quite a lot. For example, I think making the map a bit smaller would bring the pacing up quite a bit, and thus adding a bit more tension to the gameplay. Also, some visual effects would be nice too, like indicating player damage is a huge one as currently there is no way other than seeing the health text go down.
But let's not be too negative now. I'd say with more work the game would be much better and enjoyable, so keep up the good work!
