Your game has a lot of charm and I really like the unique teleport mechanic using Ballooney’s light. While holding Z + X works, I think simplifying it to just X for auto-lighting and teleporting in the facing direction would feel smoother and clearer. The level design shines with its multiple paths. I liked that the cat can pop the balloon too. However, Ballooney’s respawns felt a bit too close at times, perhaps placing balloon-holding enemies instead could improve this.

A cute, short platformer.  I think the balloon mechanic is interesting. It encourages the player to plan their jumps so they can avoid popping the balloon and losing their light source. I like the animation on the cat. The music is upbeat and fits with the cat theming of the game.

If you decide to expand on this game, I think you could make more use of the teleportation mechanic. It seems like you really only need to use it once.

While I like the balloon mechanic. I think there should be more of a consequence to popping the balloon. Right now, you can just wait for the balloon to respawn and it's no trouble. It’s more of a minor inconvenience than anything. I would suggest finding a way to make popping the balloon more detrimental to the player's progress. For example, the player could have a limited number of balloons that can respawn, or the level could have a time limit, discouraging the player from simply waiting for the balloon to respawn. Tweaking this could make the mechanic more interesting and the game more challenging.

Overall, I enjoyed this short game. Expanding on the mechanics you have in place could make the game even better! Thanks for submitting!
