I feel a bit silly for asking this, but I am not sure what the character color limiations are exactly. I am considering joining this jam, but I would like to understand the limits better. If the player character should be pink or the enemies green and red, am I allowed to use black and white in their designs too? Only one exact color would lead to characters being just shapes or transparent characters with only outlines. What about pink, white, black and the pink itsels but white or black added (for the player character)? What about the same pink but more saturated (probably not allowed, but asking to know for sure)?
