The music is nice, but I can't figure out how to play it even after reading your comment(
I'm unsure how to control this one. I can walk up to the hole and press b, but not sure what to do after that?
Hello, thanks for reaching out. After you cast by pushing the (B) button (A on the PC Keyboard), a small status bar should show up above the hole to indicate your progress while you reel in the 'fish '(0 pt) or 'Present' (1 pt) with the crank. If you get a 'Present' the completion bar on the upper left of the screen will get updated until the goal of 10 'Presents' is reached.
Sorry, I did not realize that I was missing the bundle ID field in the pdxinfo. I am currently unable to update the pdxinfo file due to the active game JAM but I listed the bundleID below, if you want to copy and paste it into the pdxinfo file and try it out. Thanks
bundleID=io.itch.raconteur81.ice-fishing-at-the-north-pole
So, its actually missing quite a few thing from the pdxinfo, so I took the liberty to write them here if anyone else is interested in copy pasting it for themselves so they can try the game
bundleID=io.itch.raconteur81.ice-fishing-at-the-north-pole
name=Ice Fishing in the North Pole
author=Raconteur81
version=0.01
buildNumber=1
Thank you for posting this information, it is very much appreciated.
The game cannot be sideloaded since The bundleID field is missing from pdxinfo
Was able to play it on the simulator. I liked the theming and music.
Here's some feedback:
- Visual clarity could be improved by giving the characters a solid color and outline. It was hard to tell what was what since everything's so dark / densely pixelated.
- A tutorial would have helped a lot :)
