Very good game and very nice GUI! This reminded me a lot of Johnny Upgrade, so extra points on nostalgia! I love the random resources each time you load up a level, making sure no run is the same as the last! I'm excited to see this game blossom into something beautiful when you update it! Nice job on your first game jam!
Thank you! I wanted the pickups to mean something so I created the upgrade system, though I had more upgrades in mind when I created them that I couldn't implement on time.

Thank you! I did my best to make a basic but fairly complete game with a consistent game loop.
There were sadly a lot of systems that I couldn't get to work on time, but that's part of the learning process. Thank you for hosting this Jam!
Very nice game with an impressive GUI :) Looks like a good start, so that's good to know you plan to keep working on it. Three different environments make the game more interesting. It may be a good idea to vary the gravity. It would require a player to adjust and make it more challenging.

The varying gravity per level idea is actually great and its not too hard to implement I think, so I might use it on a future update.
