One of the few story games I played that I quite enjoyed, especially for this kind of jam. Well done.
An interesting take for a horror Game Jam, this is the last type of game I was expected.
It's a neat concept, I think the soundtrack works for it and the art is pretty good.
Maybe I am just stupid, but I was kind of confused why anything was happening and I didn't know why I did x/y/z, and some of the "twists" kind of just added to that.
I did find the controls to be a bit janky and I had no idea why I randomly died while trying to collect the soul pieces (which the gameplay started to make sense after I died a few times, the hands hurt you :P. Okay, maybe I am dumb, I don't know), but I was mostly just like "well that happened".
ALSO I FIGURED OUT THAT THERE WAS A SAVE BUTTON GAAAAAAAAAAA.
I haven't played a lot of RPG's or games like this, so my opinion might be a bit jank, but your art style is really cool and it worked well. I just found the gameplay and the story a bit janky.
Unique, special and full of characters. It is fun, less of a scary and more of a story driven narrative and when you see the character, you do feel the terror inside. Fantastic job on this one!
