It's quite difficult to play, really. I sometimes die randomly to my own bullets, there's no coyote time so jumping has to be incredibly precise, and I didn't make it very far before getting frustrated and giving up, so I didn't really see any implementation of the theme 😅

I think the character controller needs to be improved - coyote time plus some tweaking to the jump would make this feel a lot better!

Thanks for playing!  Yes, you are correct; I did not have much time to put a final polish on the movement - like coyote time. As for the bullets hitting you, its not random - its physics :) Try to avoid them - that's part of the game. Thanks for the input!

Why do I have the ability to knock myself off of the 2d sidescroller with my own bullets? It happened like 4 times in a row, and I was so baffled because I thought that maybe either a dead enemy or a background object was doing it, but I can recreate it by turning and having a bullet hit mid turn.

That's part of the gameplay - the robot warns you not to get knocked off.  Your own bullets are entities too.

Very nice! Could use a bit more polishing, but a strong start.

Thanks! I do intend to continue developing this one.
