Hi! I'm NekotoArts, a 16yo hobbyist game developer.

I've been working on a game for quite a while now which includes a procedurally generated world but apart from making enemies spawn for the player to kill, its got nothing else really. I'm having trouble coming up with any ideas for the game to progress, and so the project remained dead for about a month now.

I thought this Jam would be a great way to revive the project but I'm still very lost. There's no end objective that compels the player to actually keep playing.  So I was hoping someone in this jam would be willing to help me, I'm not the freshest on ideas but I really want this project to become a reality.

Try it for yourself here: https://nekotoarts.itch.io/project-kamboot-procedural-worl

You can make a high score system and rewards.

Oh, so something like the more enemies they kill, the higher their score which gives them better items?

That sounds good! Thanks for the suggestion!

You're welcome!

Collectables would be a good Idea and I recommend you join the VimJam which is a week long and is starting 2 weeks from now.

Collectables? So like coins?

Also, is that VimLark's Game Jam?

Yes, it is.
