  • Really awesome game, really fun challenging and the art is pretty great! I just missed some music and the theme.

Which parts of the game did YOU create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
None, I started from scratch from the sprites, to the concept.

Which parts of the game did you NOT create?
None, during the week, I went through iterations of themes, scripts and assets.

How was your jamming experience? Did you enjoy the theme? Were you able to produce more or less than you expected?
It was great, I enjoyed the theme, do to poor planning on my part and being busy, I didn't produce as much as I wanted but I as happy/content on what I made.

I liked the overall idea.  Things got difficult once I made it to the fairies and mushrooms.  There were some parts where I got to move forward without completing the puzzle.  Also, not sure how this meets the theme.

Cool puzzle. The controls were pretty unresponsive causing a lot of deaths which wasn't too frustrating at the start but as the sections get longer dying to an eaten input gets annoying. Not sure if intentional but a couple sections I was able to fill all the tiles and be nowhere near the end. But it set the checkpoint so I was able to move on. Overall the puzzle aspect was fun but I would love music/sound FX and tighter controls.

The puzzles seem good but I didn't get very far because of issues with the controls. Sometimes they wouldn't respond, and sometimes I would move multiple spaces. It was really punishing since one wrong move makes you start over... I wish that shrubs and shards just acted like walls instead of instakills. I'm also confused what the point of the red-eyed shrub monster is, since leaving the path kills you anyways.
