Hey folx! This jam officially kicks off in just a couple of days, and I'm amazed at how many are signed up for the very first game jam I've ever hosted and I figured this is a good opportunity to get to know each other, so let's introduce ourselves, I'll go first:

Hi, I'm Rayne (they/them), I write for Even Footing Games, as well as making my own silly little games, and I'm a Queer, Non-Binary person who is here to have a good time and support the wonderful people at the Trans Empowerment Project!

If you're not familiar with them, definitely go check them out - https://transempowerment.org/

Now it's your turn, tell us your name (or at least what you want to go by for this), your pronouns, and a little bit about you! Would love to hear from and about other LGBTQIA2S+ folx in the world of game design! 💚

Hi, I'm Jellyfishlines (he/him). I'm queer, trans, AuDHD/multi-disabled. I am neck deep in the ttrpg scene... it's getting a little out of hand.

I did NOT grow up playing TTRPGs but as a teen I was curious about them. Then COVID happened. I got into TTRPG's in January 2022 at age 21 due to the pandemic and in 2022 I joined the wider scene.

I've been in too many AP's to count and climbing, just started GMing games online and writing games as well, and I run my own podcast (Playback Static) and will soon be casting for two more. I also co-host Flyleaf to Endsheets: A TTRPG Book Club with my friend W.D. Smith.

In other words, theres 7 days a week and 24 hours in them and it's still not enough time for all that I do! But I'm having fun and that's what matters!

So freakin' cool that you're still relatively "new" to TTRPGs and already making your own! Love to see it! ^_^

I'm Fox! (They/fay) I'm sapphic, genderqueer, and AuDHD. I love D&D so dearly, and have recently gotten into Mutants and Masterminds! I've never made a system before, but I'm very excited to. This is also my first Game Jam!

You're gonna do fantastic! Thanks for being here! :D

Oh hi there! My name is Eric (he/they), and I am a budding game designer, with my first full game having gone up only a few days ago from the Queer Game Jam!

For this jam, with the blessing of our host, I am finishing up a project that's been on and off for me for a little bit. The Final Queers is a PbtA queer slasher inspired game, which will have 10 playbooks, a full setting and several adventure modules to run. It will have rules for one-shots, short campaigns, and longer campaigns. Pulling from games like MASKS, Monster of the Week, and Burning Hearts Forever, I'm really excited to push this game to the finish line!

Hell yeah, I'm excited to see how it turns out! I love a lot of PbtA and FitD games, so I'm definitely intrigued lol

Hallo! I'm Jaye (they/them, nonbinary demisexual), 1/2 of Sunken Rust Games which I run with my husband. (Our released games are all mine so far but he's got a few system-size games in the works.)

I'll be using the jam momentum to work on a Forged in the Dark game about gaining Glory for your ancient Greek family and making your demigod Patron happy. It's not very spooky for a concept, but there are plenty of oracles, ghosts, undead, and spooky themes to throw at players.

I mean, what's more Queer than Greek Mythology though?? And having seen your WIP, I am super excited to see how this turns out! 😁

Ashe, *heavy coughing sounds* years experience in TTRPGs, they/them! Originally planning on writing a fully original one-shot RPG; now working on a systemless (possibly 5E? ToV?) setting. This started as a two-page implied setting in the background of one of my player characters, but I've always wanted to turn in a character sheet with a complete city and culture document stapled to the back of it! *evil grin* It is definitely a scary place suitable for a Hallowe'en game, though the monster at hand is nontraditional ...

Welcome, glad to have you here, and very excited to see what you end up coming up with!

Hi!! i'm Cate (she/her transfem demisexual), AuDHD, really into drawing, composing music and for the past two years - gamedesigning :p
currently making a relatively big ttrpg system intertwined with my setting, which is uh.. hard, AND also requires consistency to not to make an overbloated core
and so i joined this jam to let myself experiment with the mechanics and themes more than i usually do---

Welcome, happy to have you here! If you're on discord, feel free to drop by the TTRPG Collective (link is on the main jam page) and chat with us more about your ideas! It's been wonderful getting to know all these lovely fellow Queer TTRPG creators!
