I love the art for this, all the characters are super cute! I had some trouble figuring out how to actually redistribute the counts on the canisters, so I think this could benefit from a bit more of a tutorial. This game has a ton of potential, though, and even with the multiplayer bugs, I had a lot of fun playing this with other people. Definitely would love to see you continue with it!
The character designs are adorable. I especially love the unicorn <3
Tried playing with others online, but unfortunately had some difficulties (though just super impressed that you went for a multiplayer game in game jam time. I was not that ambitious XD). For one, we could glitch ourselves out of the brig without others bailing us out, and one of us was unable to move while in multiplayer, weirdly!
Can definitely see the potential, and playing with / yelling with friends, though! I think the concept is there, but just needs some more time to polish and have some playtesting sessions.
Interestingly, the game concept has all the brain activation and potentially learning reinforcement that a lot of educational games have, but I think the multiplayer aspect of it could really be engaging, in a way that students may *want* to play a game like this instead of being kind of forced to for school. Not sure if you had an educational bent in mind when you made this, but it could be an intriguing option to explore for future development!
i like the mascot designs and running around trying to do math! its surprisingly challenging
