This is the Undead Asylum from Dark Souls. That of course fits with Runecairn. 

It is designed as a true tutorial, with the character not even starting with the equipment the rule book says they otherwise would. I think this would work great with a player who has not played Dark Souls or, better, someone who has but does not know that Runecairn is a Soulslike TTRPG. But someone who has read the core rulebook might want to start with their items. Me, I played solo and just gave myself the gear. But I was playing wrong, so I think it balanced out. All told, this was successful in being a tutorial!

A masterpiece alone for the Semiotic Standard solo procedure, Thousand Empty Light is a peak into the brilliance of Alfred Valley. Immersive graphic design, immersive scenario and exploration, immersive soundtrack. Worth looking at and playing multiple times over.
