I think this game looks real neat, and I think the added indication that a hexagon is about to fall is really good.
I do think it could help to reduce the 'affection' radius? I feel like all the penguins were affected in the same way to an explosion regardless of where you caused the explosion, so having multiple penguins felt more like having one large penguin with separate parts.
Still, really fleshed out and well made for the time that we got
Fun game, Much penguin, Simple mechanics, Quickly familiarized with gameplay. Maybe it'd be fun to drop items on the stage which would have to be collected by the penguins? Like powerups or something.

I cried when penguin died. Having to damage ice to scare them away is a good sacrifice
