Horse and Rider is a two-player game that uses a  unique braiding mechanic and an optional D6 mechanic for less experienced players. The game follows a horserider and a wild horse that form a bond as said rider attempts to tame the horse. The SRD for Horse and Rider, Ridden From The Horse, strips the game down to its basic mechanics, making them easier to read and understand.

The #RiddenFromTheHorseJam is an opportunity for you to make a game using this System Reference Document. While the original game was written to be about forging a bond between two people, there are many other different directions a potential game could be taken in.

These games will not be rated, this jam is simply an opportunity to play around with a different system. The Ridden From The Horse SRD is available here.

The rules for the Jam are as follows:

1. All games in the jam have to use mechanics from the Ridden From The Horse SRD.
2. All Ridden From The Horse content is to be attributed appropriately, as outlined in the SRD. 
3. No racists/bigots/sexists/transphobes/homophobes/ableists etc. allowed. Likewise, the Ridden From The Horse SRD cannot be used to make games that are bigoted towards a minority group.
4. Please use content warnings where appropriate.
