Really interesting, I love doing the like "Wikipedia race" thing and thing reminds me of that quite a bit; its like playing a ttrpg but you have to remember that pressing links both effects the player and transports you to another senario.

A thing I found a little strange is that pressing any links that opens the actual browser opened in "Microsoft edge" even though my standard web browser is Chrome, don't know why that is.
I also loved the mushroom opens in swedish (I expect that it translates to the pc's set language).

I love the windows 7 style click and error sound effects, just so iconic!

Thanks for checking it out!

I don't know why the browser is acting up. It's supposed to open in your default browser, but two other people that have tried it got trouble due to them also using Chrome. Luckily it's more of a bonus thing than anything.

As for Mushroom Samba, I made that page in Swedish. I just wanted as many crazy effects on that page as possible, and I thought Swedish would be funny.

One thing I personally don't like about the links is that it's hard to tell when a link takes you to a new random event or is a cotninuation to the current event. I did make a sublte indication to it with the page taking longer to load if it's a new event, but it's something that could have somehow been made clearer.

I agree that it is quite hard to tell if it changes complete or just continues, I didn't realize the loadtime changed at all so yeah maybe be a bit clearer idk, also good choice with swedish; its just such a nonsence language for anyone who can't speak it and it gave me a bit of a chock since I thought I change my pc's language.

Is using this Wiki-style for gameplay already a genre? If not then you might have invented something incredible. Really creative, and quite enjoyed the writing style for adventure.

Thanks! I have to admit that pretty much any text was taken from the TV Tropes pages they represent. If you click the search bar in the game, it'll take you to the actual page.

This is definitely one of my favorite games of the Jam. It is really well done and feels fun to play. Awesome Game, Great Job!

Really amusing. It has an imaginative take on the roguelike genre and has a very memorable theme. It gives incentive to play again and again with various "tools" to try to solve the problems you run into, and it's pretty cool. Decently small, but that's to be expected. Overall, a really nice little game. I'm satisfied.
