I got an Action game where you go on a heist with puppies put you have stretchy powers, but I don't want to add stretchy powers

Yeah, you don't have to use everything of what you got. Just make sure your game is inspired by what you got, and you're not just doing what you want and ignoring the theme entirely. Making a gameplay mechanic that revolves around randomness is more important to me.
