Hi, I just wanted to ask you guys what RPG maker you would be using?
I'm just curious if the RPG Maker 2000 and 2003 are still being used.

You can use them if you want.

Any version of RPG Maker made and released by the RPG Maker company that can export a downloadable windows game will do.

Eg: 2K, 2K3, XP, VX, VXace, MV, MZ.

I think that's all of them, but if anyone has any questions on whether "this RPG Maker" can be used in the jam, I'll be sure to answer.

However, you can only use RTP from the RPG Maker you're using.

So, like, if there are files in say, the 2k RTP that aren't in the 2K3 RTP, you couldn't use them, but if, let's say there are files that come packaged with both version of RPG Maker, you can.

Basically, imagine that the version of RPG Maker you're using for the project is the only one you own the license to.

Also, good choice, 2K3 has a really nice charm, and I really like the music, glad few of the songs got remastered for MV, but not nearly as many as deserve it.  It's got a good library though, can't be all classic tunes(also, I'm referring to the base resource seperate download, not what comes when you load up the engine.  I might allow free DLC's, but only ones that come packaged with the engine, such as the Base Resource)
