You need to incorporate the Theme into your game in some way and before you submit it, you will need to write atleast 1 short sentence about how your game fits the Theme of the game jam. It's completely up to you how you interpret the theme. Feel free to be creative with it.

Theme: Seeking Absolution

Bonus Challenges: Unlike the Theme, these are entirely optional. Feel free to do one, two, all of them or ignore them completely.

For this game jam, the optional challenges are the following three:

1 - Dark Moment: There's a flashback scene in the game during which the protagonist is shown either doing something evil or failing at some incredibly important task.

2 - How Could You: There's a scene in the game where someone tells the protagonist in detail just how much they hate them for what they've done or for what they've failed to accomplish.

3 - Jewelry Box: The following items are included in the game in some significant way - An emerald ring, a sapphire brooch, a ruby necklace, and a citrine bracelet.
