With two different routes and a time progression system, this was a pretty ambitious work, I would say. Had a really good time seeing Mattie and Erik's friendship in depth on their route, and the way Aster and Erik's teamwork developed on the Aster route. It was also really fun watching the other students' teams develop over the days (the hot blooded dude and girl duo cracked me up, very fun stuff. I will say that the battle system was a bit hard for me to understand, and certain fights seemed straight up unwinnable (the fight with the trio of enemies in the simulator) but that's probably more on me for not experimenting enough with the equipment system. I also would've liked to see some usage of music other than the battles, but it is what it is! I thought this game was super charming, and I hope you'll continue to make more stuff in the future.
Thank you, both for the review and the help with the bugs! I also regret not being able to get around to the music when I submitted it; I think a proper soundtrack really adds a lot to these amateur RPGs. If I come back to this game in the future to expand it, that would be a top priority for me.
