Hello! It's hard to know when the next jam will be. Usually people start asking for one pretty quickly after the current one ends, but it's never really set in stone.

Thank you for being excited, thank you for waiting so long, and thank you for loving my weird little guys! I hope that this will be one of the best games I've made so far, so please wait just a little longer!
And hah, if Tybalt wasn't such a shy boy Henley might've gone for it, but he doesn't wanna make his bf explode on the spot in front of all those people!
Had a really good time with this one. You created a really cool atmosphere with the music and graphics, I'm pretty impressed with all the custom minigame stuff too. You seemed to be a lil disappointed in not being able to include more, but I think it's pretty amazing you managed to include as much as you did in just a month on top of all the custom graphics and music. The story was pretty crazy this time (and man, Amy's talk with Olympia in the car got me good) and ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I'm excited to see where things end up going next (especially if (spoiler) will be the MC next time)! The thickening sci-fi aspect of your games is super interesting. Great work!
The item-based combat system is cool, I like how they play off each other, how using one enables another, etc. The lore dump at the start was a little heavy and in-media res for me to follow, but I really liked the stuff about the honey in the forest and the bear that they talked about after the combat was finished. Cool work, had fun with it and looking forward to whatever you make next!
Hell of a game. Really enjoyed the switch to RM2K for its snappier battle system, the crazy sense of humor (THAT scene with Madam Butterfly) and the finale was awesome. Also the lore in the library had me in stitches, I desperately want to see more of this insane fast food world you've crafted. Great stuff!
I cleared it! Had a really fun time with this one, the first attempt I thought I was huge-brained and messed up super bad, but on my second file I figured out how to REALLY play the game and it was a lot of fun. My only real nitpick is that I'd like to see an indicator for what floor I'm on at all times, which would make it easier to keep track of whether I should warp somewhere or just use the stairs. Other than that, great fun, great entry. Congrats on finishing it!
I really enjoyed this one a lot, and IMO it's a huge level up design wise from your previous work. The start was tough, just as warned, but once you get a few buddies and the systems start opening up it's a ton of fun. I really liked the heart and soul mechanics: it's a cool way to let the player experiment with builds without having to feel pressured about investing skill points, and it also makes each new enemy you encounter exciting (I get to use those skills? I get to summon HIM?! was how I constantly felt playing it). I managed to beat the final boss with a party of level 9 and 10 characters by keeping him constantly debuffed while buffing my own party's speed and having an AOE heal available almost always. I never had to stop and grind, either, though I suppose it would've made things a bit easier overall, haha.
The lore was cool: I love these kinds of settings and the scientific approach the game takes to the in-game mechanics, and of course the motif of fate being inescapable, even if the player tries to take the most seemingly kind way out, things still go like that... I was a little bit moved. Great work on this game!
I really enjoyed my time with this game! The battle system did kind of turn into "Penny beats the shit out of the enemy while Ian spams heal," but it was still engaging enough in the last few fights, and I almost lost to the final boss. Pretty well-balanced all around. Loved loved loved Penny and Ian so much. They're great, they're wonderful! You really know how to evenly spread the "haha jokes" and sarcasm/snarkiness alongside the really genuine stuff, I was moved. Also impressed at basically everything in the game being custom-made. Great work!
This game is so cool! It has a ton of work put into it, really thick atmosphere, cool music and even sfx choices, it's great. It's also cool how many endings there are and how they're attained. While the combat was a bit difficult to fully understand, I still had fun with it. Very soulful game, I just felt bad that I was too casual to get all the endings, but I really enjoyed my time with it! Great work!
This was so much fun! As always, I'm super jealous of your amazing mapping skills. The fact that you managed to make all of these giant, comfy, detailed areas while still putting together a pretty dang good custom battle system in the span of a jam is amazing to me. The battles felt a little bit clunky at first but by the end it was pretty natural and I felt comfortable with it. The ice maze was a bit sadistic, but other than that I had a great time with this. The scene at the top of the mountain after the final battle was cute and got a big laugh out of me. Would be happy to see it fully completed, but what you've already got down is great! Nice game, thank you!
Thank you so much for playing through the game, as well as pushing through all of those bugs! I agree pretty strongly that for the second half of the game, the party is a bit too support heavy, and that's another reason I probably should've let Emilia go with the team instead of Jet, but really it's getting to the point where I should just let players choose their own parties since there are so many characters in the story now, haha. I hope to eventually come up with a good role for the samurai dude, one of these days he'll get his turn...! Thanks again for playing.
I had a great time with this game! There were so many great jokes and scenes that I couldn't keep track of it all, I took a lot of screenshots. I was also impressed with how many different aspects of Danganronpa you managed to parody, the VA, the size of the script, everything honestly. The ending left me in stitches, too. I can't believe it had to go that way... ;_;7 Congrats on this great game, thanks for creating and sharing it with us!
Had fun with it! The game's sense of humor was great, the goblin fight cracked me up as did Santa's present. While I do enjoy your big, detailed maps, I think it might help you to try scaling them down just a bit next time, so that you have more time to work on other things: you have some fun gameplay concepts, and I'd like to see you be able to put them more to use. I enjoyed my time with this game, and I'm ready for more. Hope to see you next jam!
I had a good time playing this. Cute custom graphics, goofy sense of humor, pretty short, good songs used. I was surprised by the voice acting being there, that was funny. The battles were a little bit easy and there wasn't much reason to fight the non-boss enemies so I skipped them. Dialogue needs some corrections but other than that, fun game.
I finally got to play this! It was a delight the whole way through, the sheer amount of NPCs to talk to and objects to inspect gave the game such a lively feeling, it was super immersive. The character designs are great (if I had to pick a favorite, maybe Oliver, that pic of him smiling with a big toothy grin is just too freaking cute man), just overall really nice game. I wish the battles had a little bit more to them but that's honestly more of a nitpick than anything. Great work!
Congrats on finishing up your game! I played through it twice, and did a few extra fights on a 3rd playthrough just to see what the last few characters could do. There's a lot of fun skills and abilities to use in this game, and a lot of the parties I went with ended up having unexpected synergies that were cool. The game is a little bit on the easy side if you pick a balanced party, but I did still get caught off guard and have members die a few times and with so many characters I think you did a pretty good job. My second team was Grace, Alex, Daniel, and Brian and I really enjoyed using them, by the time I fought the 4th boss I felt like I was really using them to the best of their abilities. Good work!
This was a really ambitious one, lots of custom systems and stuff that needed ironing out but I think the current result is good. Loved the conversation system, it was clear to me that you had a ton of fun writing them and they cracked me up (loved the gremlin lambasting me for playing "Seacats" and then buckling and saying "well, I guess it's technically a game..."), loved the support system and would be happy to see it fully fleshed out. The battles are pretty well-balanced, there's just uh, a bit too many of them honestly. Fortunately I got to play the version where the encounter reduction spell had been fixed up. The second floor is maybe a bit large (I'd try reducing its size to about 2/3 of what it currently is) and a bit mean with the traps in it, but it helped that it came with a whole new batch of enemies (speaking of, the original art assets you made were very cool and entertaining, as usual). Also, the progression of the final boss' graphics was awesome, love to see it.
Great work and congrats on successfully finishing another Jam game!
With two different routes and a time progression system, this was a pretty ambitious work, I would say. Had a really good time seeing Mattie and Erik's friendship in depth on their route, and the way Aster and Erik's teamwork developed on the Aster route. It was also really fun watching the other students' teams develop over the days (the hot blooded dude and girl duo cracked me up, very fun stuff. I will say that the battle system was a bit hard for me to understand, and certain fights seemed straight up unwinnable (the fight with the trio of enemies in the simulator) but that's probably more on me for not experimenting enough with the equipment system. I also would've liked to see some usage of music other than the battles, but it is what it is! I thought this game was super charming, and I hope you'll continue to make more stuff in the future.
Had a lot of fun with this game. Sense of humor is still just as good as ever, and I think having the battles take place via creature fights instead of letting the heroines annihilate everything on their own was a really interesting and funny choice. I got a big kick out of the different rewards you get from fights and peoples' general reactions to you beating them. The overall plot is hilarious, too, with the heroines instantly forgetting what they were "supposed" to be doing in favor of messing around with whatever they found interesting at that moment, and the final battle obliterated my sides. I may have to give it another playthrough or two to see if you've hidden any secret alternate endings or events or anything like that. Great work!
I like the concept of the school becoming a gladiator arena, and I appreciate the effort that went into both the custom assets and the battle system. Very much enjoyed those aspects of the game! That having been said, I don't think I ever really understood how battles work: because the player's options are very limited, winning or losing is a bit on the RNG side of things. I found that begging was generally the best option, since you could defeat your enemies without needing to spend MP. Also, since backing away sometimes fails to do anything, and can also occasionally recover as little as 1 or 2 MP, all the more reason to avoid relying on MP entirely. As for the items, equipment, etc. that can be purchased, I understand not necessarily wanting to add descriptions in order to keep things interesting, but because they cost so much it's difficult for the player to experiment with them. Ultimately, I wasn't able to defeat a sophomore enemy that kept appearing and couldn't clear the game.
I do like what's here, I think it's really interesting and with a bit more polish and a bit more clarity as to what does what it could be an even better game. I also got a huge kick out of the little details, like the progression of the MC's reaction to the post-battle healing, the notes left for her, anti-depressants showing up in the store for an exorbitant price, etc. I hope you continue to work on this game so we can see it at its best.
The combat is a little unbalanced, but there are plenty of features in place to make sure the game is both very beatable and never too frustrating, it's very open with a ton of stuff to do, and the references to the previous (You)RPGM Jam games were great (I'm super biased on that aspect though hahaha). I really liked the way it tied up a few loose threads from Shoukan Gaki 1 while still having enough of its own identity too, it has a lot of heart. I was impressed by how much you managed to force the ol' RM2K default battle system to do. Great work, I really enjoyed my time with it!
It's a short game and it's not like, fully balanced or fleshed out, but I still got a few laughs out of it. The final boss in particular made me lose it, when the music started I had to just sit there and listen in shock for a moment. I really like the idea of the setting, which seemed to amount to "we get way too many of you goddamn isekai'd brats around here go bother someone else," funny and interesting. Congrats finishing your first game and I hope you submit a bunch more in the future.
One of the most unhinged games I've ever played. Pretty entertaining throughout, these are some pretty intense murderhobos but I think I kind of get what you were going for. The final battle was decently challenging. I got frustrated at Lebben for how frequently she'd either miss or have her attacks dodged, but other than that pretty good. Tip to anyone playing, do NOT let him say it.
I had such a good time with this game, I was smiling the whole way through it. Your sense of humor is great. The battles were fun, challenge was just right IMO (until I got the bonus weapon at the very end, but even then the finale was pretty intense). It was also really cool how each character's ultimate skills worked (very fun to go crazy smashing guys with your rock). My only real concern was that the elemental system was hard for me to remember: I'd recommend maybe giving the player a key item they could use to check which elements are strong against which typings. That and some mispellings and formatting issues aside, very strong game.
