Ink must be a better person than I: I guessed what was coming when the rest of the party stopped talking after the "boss fight" (either that or they were robots) but that didn't stop me from wanting to pull out my Aster Sword and at least behead the guards or something. Considering Ink just killed a demon-king and presumably a lot of other things on his journey, no-one seems concerned that he might just kill them all.
I really enjoyed the game regardless and there were quite a few clever bits despite its short length, like the commentary from examining items. The ending was heartwarming and I think the message is an important one: Life can take unexpected turns and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm glad that Ink found a true home, though a part of me can't help but hope that a few years later saw them storming the kingdom, deposing Xelda and instituting a more just form of governance and a healthier economy.
A very fun take on the hero's journey, which raises a number of very good points regarding RPG tropes. I wasn't expecting the ending to be what it was, but it came as a pleasant surprise!
Fun little game, love the ending .Good job :)
A truly depressing & entertaining conclusion.
Fun game! Love the game references specially the Zelda ones! :D
