Its pretty juicy and the sound effects were very arcadey. I think the difficulty isn't very clear though as you're allowed to let the enemies pass by you without any penalty, so sticking to a spot and not moving is quite effective. The chaos later on was fun though and the powerups made things highly engaging. Great work!

Thanks for playing my game, and I appreciate the feedback.

The game gets crazy (in a good way) the further along you get. I cleared round 13 and the entire screen was full all the time XD. The graphics and animation are all very nice (I especially like the disintegrating plane animation). Overall it is very impressive all you did in 72 hours!

Thanks for playing my game! After Round 12 the Invincibility Star and Bombs become very useful, lol. The disintegrating animation was done using juicefx, it's great for making quick animations for gamejams. The game has flaws and missing some things, but thanks for your words of encouragement.

The game is nice, but it looks like it's impossible to lose if you just hold space and go back and forth.

My suggestion would be to add enemies that have more than 1 hp.

The sound and the visuals are well done by the way!

Thanks for playing my game! I wanted to add more difficult enemies, that would attack as you progress through the game, but ran out of time. Your idea might be better, to add hp to the enemies as time progresses.

nice game and awesome art
