This reminds me of those old arcade games. Fellow Beepbox composer too! Art and music does the job well enough.

Developer

I hope you enjoyed this arcade-inspired experience.

A vertical "Galaga-type" game, in which the gameplay is fun, but the art looks really weird. It's nice to see that you didn't used the cringey "Scratch-esque" art-style, but the pixel-art style (especially of the earth) really looks weird.

Thank you for playing. I am glad you found the gameplay fun.

Thanks for sharing your comment, but I was wondering if you meant the pixel-art style in general is weird or the pixel art that I did is weird? If you meant the latter, can you explain why it looks weird and/or give feedback/suggestions on how to improve my art? I would appreciate it.

Ah, I'm here.

Well, I believe the problem is with the colors, and well... the earth)

The color pallets is great, but it's very weird and considering it's in the space. Something darker with a little purple would fit in perfectly.

And the earth unfortunately just doesn't fits in. And I don't mean the face or something (it's perfect anyways!), but I mean like adding shadows or something.

Developer

Ah, I see what you mean. Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your vision for a game like this.
